Ukrainian Foreign Ministry: we and Poland will continue the fight against the Nord Stream 2
Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba during a working visit to Warsaw and meetings with his Polish counterpart Jacek Chaputovich discussed the role of both countries in protecting Europe's energy security, the press service of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry said on July 27. It was noted that the parties confirmed their intention to implement a tripartite memorandum of Ukraine, Poland and the United States on cooperation in energy to diversify energy sources in Europe. The parties emphasized that the Russian Nord Stream 2 project poses a threat to the energy security of all of Europe and agreed to take further steps to prevent its implementation, the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry said in a statement. According to the news agency, the next US sanctions suspended the construction of the Nord Stream 2 gas pipeline by European contractors. It was decided to complete the 94% finished gas pipeline by the Russian side.
