In Kyrgyzstan cancelled mass events on May 9
Mass events on May 9 in honor of the 75th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War were cancelled in Kyrgyzstan. This was announced by the Head of the Republic Sooronbai Zheenbekov at the meeting of the Security Council on April 28. According to him, the spread of coronavirus infection still prevents the holding of mass events. Zheenbekov proposed to hold the action Immortal Regiment online. At the same time veterans of the Great Patriotic War and workers of the rear will pay special attention, and mass media will highlight projects dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the Victory. It should be noted that the state of emergency in Bishkek, Osh, Jalal Abad and two districts of Kyrgyzstan was extended until May 10.
