In Hong Kong, civil servants will return to offices on May 4
In Hong Kong, civil servants who previously worked at home because of coronavirus will begin to return to offices on May 4. On April 28, the head of the local administration Carrie Lam told journalists. The government has decided that we will resume public services normally from next Monday, Lam said in a statement. She also noted that due to the improvement of the epidemiological situation in the city, preparations are under way for the opening of libraries, museums and sports grounds. However, there is no solution yet to the social distance restrictions ending 7 May. They involve temporarily closing cinemas, bars, beauty salons and some other establishments, banning groups of more than four people. Lam said lifting the restrictions should be gradual. According to the news agency, on 26 April, Hong Kong police with shields and batons dispersed a singing protest at a Hong Kong shopping mall.
