Tourists are not concerned: passenger transportation was suspended in Issyk-Kul
The regional headquarters for the fight against coronavirus today, July 9, decided to suspend for 10 days all interregional and intra-regional passenger traffic in the Issyk-Kul region of Kyrgyzstan. An exception is made for minibus owners who have agreements with tour operators, taxi services, provided that the car interior is filled by no more than 70%, as well as for tourists arriving on the coast of Lake Issyk-Kul by private cars. It is noted that the regional authorities promise to counteract any attempts by taxi drivers to unreasonably increase fares after the introduction of restrictions.
