Coronavirus has not helped: EU extends sanctions against Russia

Economic sanctions against Russia, introduced on the background of the conflict in the South-East of Ukraine extended until 31 January 2021. This decision was taken by the Council of the European Union because of the failure of the Minsk agreements on Donbass. The EU believes that the pandemic coronavirus is not the reason for the easing of sanctions and limitations do not affect combat COVID-19.
