Uzbekistan to refuse to import diesel fuel

By the end of 2020, the authorities of Uzbekistan plan to refuse to import diesel fuel and aerosene. This issue was discussed by the participants of the meeting on improving the efficiency of the fuel and energy industry, the press service of the Head of State reported. By the end of 2020, Uzbekistan plans to launch three propane-butane mixture plants and a plant for the production of synthetic fuel. The meeting also discussed the reduction of energy emissions. In particular, 2 3 times more energy is used to create a unit of gross domestic product than in developed countries. In order to correct the situation, agricultural and cargo equipment are planned to be transferred to gas. It should be noted that according to the Concept of providing Uzbekistan with electricity until 2030, the republic plans to increase the capacity of power plants 2.3 times and power generation 1.9 times.
