Number of detected cases of COVID-19 closer to 21 thousand in Bangladesh


The number of cases of COVID-19 detected in Bangladesh reached 20,995, the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare of the country reported on 16 May. Over the past 24 hours, 930 more cases of COVID-19, deaths of 16 have been detected in the country. The total number of deaths among COVID-19 patients reached 314 in Bangladesh. As previously reported by the news agency, the threshold of 20,000 in the number of cases of COVID-19 was crossed in Bangladesh the previous day, May 15.
