Chinese Nanjing handed over 150,000 medical masks to Italian Florence

The capital of Jiangsu Province in eastern China, Nanjing, donated 150,000 facial medical masks to the sister city of Florence and Italy, Xinhua news agency reported on April 21. The masks arrived in Florence and were handed over to the Italian city as part of a handover ceremony on Saturday 18 March. Florence Mayor Dario Nardella expressed his gratitude to China for its timely help. This year marks the 40th anniversary of a sister relationship between Nanjing and Florence in 1980. Nanjing also intends to share with Florence the experience in combating the epidemic of the new coronavirus.
