New hotbed of coronavirus spread revealed in Albanian Durres
The Albanian Ministry of Health reported on 17 May that 260 new cases of coronavirus infection had been detected in 13 samples over the past 24 hours and that another patient had been found to have been cured. This is reported by the Albanian news agency Lapsi. According to journalists, all new cases of infection in the last 24 hours have been detected in Durres. It is believed that a new hotbed of infection has emerged in this city. According to the Ministry, 946 cases of infection have been detected in the country. 715 patients are already healthy, 31 people died from complications caused by COVID-19. To date, 200 people are being treated for COVID-19. 17 of them are on hospital treatment, of whom three are undergoing intensive care.
